Saphire Blue
1978 AQPA Mare

"Saphy" is the pony that started Double D Quarter Ponies. She has "been there, done that" from walk/trot with a beginner to Hunters to parades down the Reno strip.

Saphy also managed to have a few babies in between. She is now in retirement and will stay with us for the rest of her days.

"Custer" is a wonderful example of the goal of our breeding program. She is just as nice to be around as she is to look at, willingly packing beginners to advanced riders.

"Custer" is shown winning a Low Hunters Class with Kristen Pertuit on board.
